We finally got around to getting rid of the polka-dots in our bedroom. Of course, it wasn't as simple as just painting: the carpet needed to be ripped out, the ceiling redone, etc. Here's what the tandem looked like before (left) and after (below - also put in a closet organizer). |

| Now for the main bedroom! Above is the closet area before...and below is the same area now. The one thing you can't see is that the old bedroom's ceiling was cheap plywood paneling over a false ceiling over broken plaster, and that now there is nice clean drywall over the broken plaster. Check out the refinished oak floors, too! There was stained carpet over wood-grain linoleum over those floors before. | |
